Idaho Standards Achievement Test

The Idaho Standards Achievement Tests assess the content areas of reading, language usage, and mathematics for students in grades 3–8 and 10, and in science for students in grades 5, 7, and 10 in a computerized adaptive format. These tests include multiple-choice items only and are almost exclusively administered via computer, with only a small number administered via paper-and-pencil (more than 95% of the student population in Idaho test via the CAL online assessment system). CAL, as a partner with DRC, provides its computer-based test engine and related services for the customized delivery of these tests.
