Instruct4Success Overview
The purpose of today's assessment systems is to better inform instruction by providing feedback to teachers on student progress relative to state learning standards. While well intended, the implementation of such systems typically is limited in that they do not provide the next step important to enhancing student learning by providing direct instructional feedback to students or providing instructional assistance to teachers that actually support the teacher in the delivery of instruction targeted on the specific skills being tested.
CA&L has made a strong investment in providing information to educators that will drive student achievement and school improvement through the development of Instruct4Success (I4S).
Instruct4Success provides a powerful instructional tool that provides insight on student strengths and weaknesses. I4S also helps educators target instruction and improve student learning by providing comprehensive and customized instructional lessons and student tutorials targeted directly to the specific learning outcomes as prescribed by your state.
I4S goes beyond providing just tests that report student performance from which teachers must make their individual interpretations of what to do instructionally to improve student learning. Instruct4Success offers targeted staff development and instructional materials for teachers and instructional feedback as part of the student delivery of formative assessment test items.
